DETAILED INFORMATION CHART

Zofia Gerlecka, daughter of Teofil, born 8.04.1909
Received into the Hospital on 27.05.1983, delivered on 3.09.1983. Diagnosis: Tumor colli. Disseminatio neoplasmatica.
Received to the Hospital because of increased breathlessness and many fusing nodes on the neck, intensely growing for several weeks. Single nodes were taken for histological examination. The samples sent to histological examination were: 1). A node concreted with hyoid bone shaft. 2). Lymphatic nodes of the left neck triangle with large vesses. Results: infiltratio carcinomatosa c.metastsibus lymphoiiodulorum (no more detailed information was available because of anaplastic changes) - from Patomorphological Laboratory of Province Hospital in Kielce, Nos. of specimens 186566 and 186567. Laryngological consultation: convexity of rear side of trachea in the upper part and hard infiltration in the other part. Because of increasing breathlessness, it appeared necessary to make a tracheostomy. The breathlessness diminished slightly, but increasing difficulty in swallowing remained. Symptomatic treatment following the operation did not have any real effect. At the beginning of July 1983 the patient started to receive Professor Nowacki's preparation NoVit in daily doses. She received thirty doses with a one week break. A distinct effect of the preparation appeared within 5-7 days of administration. The breathlessness diminished, and the difficulties in swallowing have ceased. " The general feeling has improved and gain of forces was observed. Laryngological observation showed that the convexity of rear side of trachea has decreased markedly and it has become much softer, and the infiltration has diminished considerably. As the state of the patient was improving steadily, the trochestomy tub has been removed. No difficulties in swallowing have remained. The general state of the patient was improving systematically and she has been discharged from the Hospital on 30.09.1983.
